Brandon Phillips is from a very athletic family. His father has a baseball complex that is based in Georgia. His brother is a professional baseball manager and his sister is a player in the WNBA. Phillips has been known to have this success from an early age, as he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the first round of the 2003 MLB Draft and made his debut with them in 2004. ..
He has shown his talents from his school days. He has played at the state and the country level. The records show that he played exceptionally even though he had less experience, tough competition, and at a young age. He was immediately hired by big franchises due to his skills and talents.
Time With Majors
Philips was traded to Majors in 2002. It seemed to be very good for his career as he was selected in one of the leading franchises at just 22 years old. However, his luck did not work out and he scored a very bad average in the matches with Majors.
The start of Brandon Phillips’ career went down the hill and because of this, he was shifted to Triple-A. Even in the games, he was given a chance to play, but his performance could not improve his average. This made the Majors take a hard decision of dropping him in the next games.
